We are the CMXCIX family — and everything we do is personal.
Our patriarch spent over three decades at the intersection of Indian finance and industry. Starting his career at the Bombay Stock Exchange in 1989, he built relationships with some of India’s most recognisable names — managing accounts for luminaries of the entertainment and business world, working closely with shipping and trade communities, and developing a rare, ground-level understanding of how capital flows through people’s lives. His academic foundation — an MCom from Mumbai and an MBA from an American university — gave him the tools; the decades gave him the wisdom.
In 1995, he brought that expertise to Gujarat, joining Amul — one of India’s most beloved and iconic institutions — where he rose through the ranks to become Assistant General Manager before retiring in 2021. His journey at Amul wasn’t just a career milestone; it was a masterclass in cooperative economics, ethical business, and the power of purpose-driven organisations.
Retirement, however, was never really an option. He went on to help businesses scale from ₹80 lakhs to ₹6 crores in revenue within two years and guided investors through complex demat transitions — handling portfolios of ₹1 crore and more — with the same personal care he has always given to every client.
Our matriarch’s story is one of resilience and reinvention. A dedicated school principal who poured her heart into education and the lives of young people, she understood — intimately and personally — what chronic stress does to the body.
Faced with her own health challenges, she turned her attention to what she was eating and found an alarming gap: there were almost no snack options that were genuinely healthy, tasty, and honest. So she built one herself. What began as a kitchen experiment became a brand — one that carries her name, her values, and her belief that food should heal, not harm.
Our youngest generation brings a new dimension to the family legacy. Holding a Doctorate in Computer Science, with a track record of founding and successfully exiting startups, mentoring the next generation of technologists, and consulting across the AI and IT landscape — the focus now is on building purposeful, accessible AI applications through HelpMeAI.
The belief is simple: technology should solve real problems, for real people, without unnecessary complexity.
